Organizational Training Needs Analysis (100 points): This assignment will require each student to conduct a training needs analysis in order to identify training needs that exist within an organization. Your task will be to produce a written document that will address each of the key steps of a comprehensive training needs analysis that are outlined below. As with previous assignments required for this course, it may be necessary to make some “assumptions” about the organization/individuals when actual data/information cannot be obtained or accessed due to restrictions/constraints placed on you by the organization being investigated. When appropriate, you may include/utilize information, findings, and/or data obtained for assignments #1, #2, and/or #3.
Your training needs analysis will complete the first component of the ADDIE (Analyze, Design, Develop, Implement, Evaluate) process. The results/findings of your training needs analysis will be utilized to complete the remaining four components of the Instructional System Design (ISD) in EDUC 643.

• Examine the organization’s mission and goals/objectives in order to identify and understand its business strategy (Assignment #2)
• Conduct a SWOT analysis to identify “possible” training implications for this organization based on its business strategy (mission and goals/objectives), as well as some of the internal strengths and weaknesses and external opportunities and threats (Assignment #2)
