You will upload the assignment (poster as a PowerPoint slide) to the appropriate location in the NSG 4440 course by the April 30th. Please review the example of Assignment 5 poster provided for you in the module. The following criteria and information are to be used to complete the poster. The point value for each item on the poster will be used to grade the parts of the poster. Use the sample poster (pdf) to assist in font size & information. DO NOT turn in this instructor sheet for Assignment 5; just the poster.
Using the information from Assignment 1, input the information under the correct headings on the left side of the poster template (Research Question, PICOT Question, Purpose, and Problem Statement. Remember, this is an “after the study” so be sure to write in past tense. Please note that you are to have corrected any issues that were noted during the grading of assignment 1. (20 points)
Under the Evidence section use references of the Review of the Literature used for assignment 1 and the 3 studies used from assignments 2, 3, & 4. Identify the type and sub-type of each study in the subheading. Please note that you are to have corrected any issues that were noted during the grading of assignments 1, 2, 3, & 4. (5 points for each study for a total of 20 points).
Under the Summary of Evidence section, use the information from assignments 2, 3, and 4, and CONCISELY describe the main findings for each study. You MUST summarize the information from the studies as a whole as a narrative under the heading. When summarizing the information, this needs to be a general summary on the topic, not a summarization of each article. Please note that you are to have corrected any issues that were noted during the grading of assignments 2, 3, & 4. (20 points)
Under the Implications section, combine the implications for nursing education, nursing practice, and future nursing research from assignments 2, 3, and 4 into a concise form. Please note that you are to have corrected any issues that were noted during the grading of assignments 2, 3, & 4. (15 points)
Under the Support for Evidence-Based Practice section, use all the significant keywords used to search for assignments 2, 3, and 4 and list them in the appropriate area. Note: You do not need to replicate keywords. You also do not need to include specific terms such as “quantitative” or “qualitative” or “systematic review” if you used in them as keywords in assignments 2, 3, and 4. (10 points)
Using the keywords in #5, search the Cochrane Library and the National Guideline Clearinghouse (www.guideline.gov) to locate evidence-based guidelines on this topic. List the number of EBP entries you find on each location under the Support for Evidenced-Based Practice section. (7.5 points)
